Kimberly A. Felder
Kimberly Felder has been a trusted hearing Instrument specialist for over 28 years. She specializes in adult testing, fitting, programming, and repairs of all makes and models of hearing aids across a total of 14 manufacturers. This knowledge and experience in private practice has given her the tools and experience to help her patients find what will work. Kimberly moved to Virginia in 2000 when her husband transferred with his job. Over the past 18 years she has provided excellent service to her patients in many cities including Falls Church, Newport News, Emporia, Chester, Richmond and Charlottesville. Prior to moving to Virginia, she worked closely with her patients for ten years near the Adirondacks in upstate New York. Kimberly understands how important it is to take the time to truly understand each patients’ history and personal objectives which allow her to provide a customized experience. Her goal is to provide innovative solutions for individuals with hearing loss by using the latest technology.
She wants to ensure her patients have the ability to stay connected, even in the most challenging listening environments. Hearing loss is a challenging condition that can affect all areas of life including personal relationships, interactions in the community, and has a very emotional component not only for them, but for family members and friends as well. Kimberly will address your needs, concerns, and ensure the best possible treatments and solutions based on the type of impairment and lifestyle. It is Kimberly’s belief that every person should have the ability to communicate with their loved ones and the world around them. She strives to provide this opportunity to each and every person so this continues to be a very rewarding career choice for her.
Kimberly Felder grew up on a Dairy Farm with 8 of her siblings in upstate New York near the Adirondacks. She learned at a very young age what hard work was and dedicated herself to finding a career in caring for people. In 1990 she worked for a year as a secretary for a hearing aid company. This is where she learned that she wanted more hands-on time with the customers. Kimberly had found her calling and proceeded to dispense hearing aids for the next 9 years. In 2000, her husband’s job transferred him to Virginia, where they found their forever home in Newport News. For the past 18 years they have loved Virginia and called it their home. She then met and worked with many patients all over most of Virginia including Chester, Emporia, Charlottesville, Newport News, and Falls Church. Kimberly has had the opportunity to work with many of products on the market today and knows what works. Her 28 years of service along with her two years of being a hearing aid user have brought her closer to her patients and given her a deeper understanding of their wants and needs in today’s hearing aid industry.
